On one sunny summer day Oleg Bardin (Egor Beroev) sets free from a maximum security prison. He had been imprisoned for 12 years for robbing a bank armored car and now only one thing he wants is to forget about the past and start a new life with Nadezhda - a woman who loves him - and his son Andrey. But stolen and missing 18 million dollars haunt many people. And there are a lot of bad people and bad troubles apart from Nadezhda waiting for Oleg at the prison gates. Eight days in which the action takes, turn upside down the life of almost all the characters. The film is full of conflicts, twists and turns, chases, sudden deaths and deep human love.

In this new hilarious comedy eight hand-picked contestants arrive on a tropical desert island to take part in a new reality show called The Island. They must compete in a series of wild-life challenges designed by the show organizers in order to increase their rating with the viewers, who will be determining the winner in the show finale. As soon as they land, they settle down in the camp that is rigged with cameras and ready for the shoot. However, things go terribly wrong when the yacht with the shooting crew sails off in order to film some establishing shots and then suddenly explodes. Having taken the explosion for the signal to start the show, the contestants enter the game without even the slightest idea that they are trapped on the island and no one is filming them anymore. Having no communication with the civilization whatsoever, they are all focused on one thing only - winning the jackpot in what they believe to be the ultimate survival reality show.

The author attempted to analyze the disintegration of the Slovak Army before the outbreak of the SNP and showed how the conditions grew for the army to join the Uprising. Through the characters of soldiers and officers of a small unit of the Slovak Army, deployed away from the events of the war, the play captures the suffocating atmosphere of expectation that existed just before the outbreak of the SNP.
